Am attempting to delete this as it is no longer needed, and I cannot. I will delete the folder, it asks for admin password, I type it, and then it loads for a second before saying that it needs permission from the computer’s admin.

no, have you deleted the service? run “service_remove.cmd” as admin and reboot

no it’s not a virus. And you need to stop services of goodbyedpi before you are deleting them as everything in system will not let you do that if it’s still running. Close all instances that you ran from it and then launch service_remove.bat from folder with administrative permissions to stop and delete services.
